Eka Pada Raja Kapotasana (Pigeon Pose)

Eka pada raja kapotasana or one-legged king of the pigeons pose, is often practiced in a way that does not provide intended benefits or is downright harmful. Performed properly with props can be a very lovely way to open up the hips and low back, relieving sciatica issues. Be aware it may aggravate pubis symphysis pain, so proceed cautiously if you have been experiencing this discomfort in pregnancy.

Props: Blocks, blanket or bolster
